Edamame is kind of Japanese soybeans which harvested in immature pods, before they are fully ripe. Edamame often served in Japanese restaurant as appetizer or snack. Edamame are naturally gluten free, low calories, no cholesterol, provide complete protein and isoflavones.
Serving tips:
- Boiling for 5-10 minutes or steam for 10 minutes and then served it with or without salt.
- Boiling for 5-10 minutes in 4% salt water, served with or without salt
- Natural thawing / defrost for 3 minutes
- Microwave for 3 minutes
